Helen's Story

When Janet flew here from California for a visit, she found things had changed dramatically. Her mom, Helen, was 84 years old and still in her own home. However, she was having lots of problems with her health and home maintenance. An only child, Janet felt responsible, but what could she do from 1500 miles away?

Following the advice of her Mom's attorney, Janet called Daughters & Company®. A Staff Daughter, Melanie, was matched to suit Helen's desires and needs. When Janet returned home, Melanie immediately began to fill the gaps. She scheduled and drove Helen to medical appointments in one of the company cars, listened to the family stories and supervised home maintenance repairs. She even took the dog to the vet.
